I’ve produced, directed and edited hundreds of videos, from the first ever Nando's Chicken TV commercials and music videos to documentaries and corporates. Now I'm focusing on editing, getting the most out of your footage.

I'm also a Google Certified 360 photographer - Tours for Google Maps or hosting on private servers.

I reckon I'm a "master" of candid "Street Photography" - so if you want a photojournalistic approach to covering an event, be it a wedding, conference, office party or general office shots, spontaneous photography is what I love and do best!

A huge number of videos produced these days are "people videos" - videos where someone is being filmed talking about something.

These videos can be put together in a very simple way, perhaps with a basic message only, OR one could add visuals like the cutaways and graphics to spice things up a bit... as highlighted below.

b-roll bits...

Cutaways, or B-roll, is the most common element used to "spice up" videos.
B-roll could be created by you or it could be stock footage. Either way, it gets craftily added to illustrate what's being said, and to engage the viewer. Sometimes it works to have a series of shots like this edited to music, as a lively interlude to the talking...

If you would like ideas or advice on what kinds of images you could get for your video, I'm happy to offer this advice without charge.

Graphics or titles are used mostly to illustrate a point or to visually structure the video into topics

eye candy

Graphics, charts and titles can be added to a video to simply emphasise a point, or to "jazz it up". Graphics can be as basic as ripped images from your own powerpoints, or something I can make up for you. It's preferable to redo your charts and graphs so they can be animated.

Interactive 360° Virtual Tours

Look In 360 is the working name of the virtual tour part of my work. Interactive Virtual Tours can combine Google Street View-type navigation with on screen text, graphics, photos, music and even live video footage filmed at those same locations to create immersive experiences. They are great for:

2 Show off your business to investors, distributors, stockholders
3 Virtual Safety tours of factories or offices
4 HR tour for to new employees to heighten brand awareness, workplace integration and enthusiasm
